
Geotechnical Services
Our geotechnical staff consists of six professional engineers licensed in the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia as well as one engineer in training. Three of the professional engineers hold a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in foundations and site improvement theory. Our engineers are assisted by five geologists/wetland specialists who have extensive experience in the geotechnical engineering field. PS&R's experience in geotechnical instrumentation includes the installation, data acquisition and evaluation of slope inclinometers (slope stability analysis), developing and monitoring settlement programs for embankments and structures, installation and measurement of crack monitors (building distress) and installation and monitoring of groundwater wells (piezometers).
