Civil/Site Design Services

At PS&R, we recommend that preliminary geotechnical review/exploration as well as wetland and stream review and delineation be conducted before or concurrently with the development of a conceptual site design for the project. Most recently, local and state regulatory agencies require that field testing be performed prior to development to determine the infiltration potential of the existing site soils. These results are incorporated into a conceptual site design which we review with the client to evaluate project feasibility. At that point, civil/site design work as detailed below can commence in earnest to obtain the necessary approvals before proceeding to site development.

PS&R has experience working with numerous government agencies in which typical approvals/permits are required. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection
  • Local County Conservation District
  • Numerous Local Municipalities
  • Sewer Authorities
  • Army Corps of Engineers
  • Medical/assisted living industrial
  • County Planning Commission

As part of the civil/site design process, PS&R can provide the following services:
